Carole and Michael as well as Kate and James attended the wedding of Kate’s close friend Sophie Carter and Robert Snuggs at St Andrew’s Episcopal Church, in Norfolk on Saturday.
Kate and Carole wore matching blue outfits, with the Duchess of Cambridge dazzling in a periwinkle coat and flower headpiece at the high society event.
Carole dressed in a navy coat with lace-detail panels and a dark blue hat for the occasion.
Noticeably absent was Pippa who is heavily pregnant with her first child with husband James Matthews.
It meant that the only member of the immediate Middleton family who did not attend was Pippa, which is thought to be because she is expecting her first child soon.
Kate’s sister had last week displayed her growing baby bump as she unveiled a new sculpture at a school for deaf children.
She wore a stylish navy polka dot jumpsuit as she visited the Mary Hare School for Deaf Children in Newbury, Berkshire, near her family home.
The 35-year-old also teamed up with sculpter Sophie Ryder to sell 50 limited-edition bronze hare sculptures, with the aim of raising enough money to build a brand new national primary school for deaf children. She said this reflected a change in her usual approach to fundraising, due to her expecting a baby: “Typically I would opt for a sporting challenge to raise money but being pregnant this was a little harder to achieve.”
Carole and Michael’s grandchildren Princess Charlotte and Princess George also attended the wedding.
Kate has been good friends with the bride Sophie for many years.
The pair stole the show as they reprised their roles as bridesmaid and page boy.
Sophie is Princess Charlotte’s godmother and very close with the Middleton family.
Prince George dressed in dressed in sky-blue knickerbockers, white stockings and loafers.
Charlotte wore a white dress and flower crown.
Their brother baby Prince Louis, who was born on April 23, was thought to have been at home with nanny Maria Borrallo.
