Kate Middleton is no stranger to a long car journey, as she has attended many public engagements since becoming a royal when she wed Prince William in 2011.
Over the years, she has developed a routine for keeping comfortable and refreshed before facing crowds of supporters after she steps out her car.
The Duchess of Cambridge reportedly likes to travel with a small Tupperware box, which carries snacks in case she gets peckish.
Meghan Markle has also been busy since becoming a member of the Royal Family this year.
Since her wedding to Prince Harry in May, she has attended more than 10 official engagements.
Meghan is said to travel with Hildon natural mineral water in still and sparkling, according to Hello.
This will keep her hydrated while she meets hundreds of new faces across Britain on her tours.
The mineral water has been supplying the royal household with the water for a number of years.
As a result, it has been given an official royal warrant.
The water comes from 50 years of natural filtration through the chalk hills of the Test Valley in Hampshire.
Hilton’s executive director Debbie Jones told Hello: “The warrant is a highly-prized seal of approval that is granted after an extremely rigorous audit process.
“This means a great deal to the whole team. Crucially, it is further proof that we have a robust environmental and sustainability policy, which is not only part of the criteria to hold
the warrant, but also an important part of our core philosophy.”
Other royals also have their own personal items in their cars while on duty.
The Queen, who is now 92-years-old, always has a blanket on hand when she travels.
She is often pictured in her car with the blanket over her knees to keep her cosy.
Kate has also clearly been inspired by Her Majesty as she was also spotted wearing a blue blanket when she travelled with the Queen to Crathie Church for a service last month.
