Ms Davy is currently dating James Marshall, a 44 year old divorcee TV producer.
However, Mr Marshall used to be married to Elettra Wiedemann, an American food writer and model, who just happens to be friends with Ms Markle.
According to The Mirror Ms Wiedemann and Ms Markle are good friends, and have been photographed together at multiple events.
Ms Wiedemann even wrote a piece for The Tig, a lifestyle blog which Meghan used to run.
The Tig, named after Tignanello, an Italian wine favoured by Ms Markle, was shut down in April 2017 shortly before her relationship with Prince Harry was made public.
On the blog Meghan wrote about travel and shopping and also conducted interviews with celebrities like Serena Williams and Yara Shahidi as par of her “Tig Talks” series.
Ms Wiedemann has a prestigious background being the granddaughter of Ingrid Bergman, a Swedish actress who rose to fame in Hollywood during the late 1930s and 1940s.
In 2012 she married Mr Marshall, but the marriage collapsed and the pair divorced in 2015.
Between 2004 and 2011 Ms Davy dated Prince Harry on and off.
The pair met in Cape Town, South Africa, where Ms Davy was studying law.
They separated in 2011, shortly after the marriage of Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge.
Royal commentator Angela Levin, author of ‘Harry: Conversations with the Prince’, thinks the 2011 royal wedding played a role in finishing the relationship.
She said: “A friend revealed that seeing the enormity and pomp of the day convinced Chelsy that she and Harry had been right to separate.”
Ms Davy did attend the royal wedding in Windsor in May.
