The three-year-old is the first girl born into the royal family to retain her position in line to the throne regardless of her youngest sibling’s sex.

The rules changed in the Succession to the Crown Act in 2013 now makes the adorable toddler fourth-in-line to the throne instead of fifth after the birth of her baby brother Prince Louis in April.

With the new gender equal succession Royal historian and founder of Royal Musings Marlene Koenig believes Princess Charlotte could get a peerage like her mother, Kate and the Duchess of Cambridge.

She said: “Now with gender equal succession, I think it would be more possible to grant a peerage to Charlotte. Prince Louis will get one when he marries, so it would only be fair if Charlotte was named a Duchess on her wedding day.

“She and her children will be ahead of Louis’ line in the succession.

“Prince Louis will get one when he marries, so it would only be fair if Charlotte was named a Duchess on her wedding day.

However, it is unclear what her peerage will be.

When Prince William’s father Prince Charles becomes king, it is likely the Duke of Cambridge will take his dukedom.

In order words Prince William will become the Duke of Cornwall and Prince of Wales.

When Princess Charles becomes king, Charlotte’s name will be styled Princess Charlotte of Wales.

A part from possibly getting a peerage, it was recently revealed that Princess Charlotte is more powerful than her brother Prince George, in one crucial respect.

The young princess is worth £1.1billion ($1.4billion) more to the global economy than her older brother.

Reader’s Digest magazine predicted Princess Charlotte’s worth to the global economy as £3.9billion ($5billion).

In comparison, Prince George’s worth to the economy is £2.83billion ($3.6billion).

This is largely to do with the clothes the children wear, which has a great influence on the public.

Princess Charlotte is said to have what’s known as the “Charlotte effect”, meaning anything she is pictured wearing sells out in a matter of hours.
