A former actress, the Duchess of Sussex has been in the media spotlight continually as her transition from Hollywood starlet to royal family member continues, under the watchful eye of senior royal aides – and the glare of the world’s media.

But now the pair are not expected to be seen in public until September while they take a break from the public spotlight.

The Duchess of Sussex has had to learn no her feet as she undertakes six months of “gruelling” royal training- covering all bases of royal protocol, from fashion sense to eating in front of the Queen.

But as Vanity fair reports, Prince Harry, 33, is growing concerned about the attention that the Duchess has been receiving since they wed in Windsor in a spectacular public ceremony.

The news comes after royal reporter Richard Palmer suggested that journalists were being kept at a distance from the couple.

It is said this is to prevent reporters from overhearing remarks that may breach strict royal protocol and could be published in the media.

Taking to Twitter, Mr Palmer posted: “Journalists are being kept further away from her than we were before the wedding. That means we can’t hear what she is saying.

“You go up afterwards and ask what she said. Mr Bloggs said: “The Duchess expressed the hope that women would eventually get the same opportunities as men in this profession.” Boring.”

A friend of the couple told Vanity Fair: “They spend a lot of time in the Cotswolds, more than people realize.

‘They are in the country way more than they are in London and they are enjoying a low-key and very domesticated start to married life.’

Another source added: ‘He worries there is too much hysteria around Meghan and he wants to row back a bit.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s last public engagement was at the Sentebale Polo Cup on Berkshire.

They were also heavily pictured when they undertook their first overseas tour together in Dublin in July.
