The four-year-old princess was the protagonist of a dreamy snap published by his mother on Instagram on Friday.
In the picture, the little royal is sitting barefoot on a rock while clinging to her fishing rod hoping to catch something.
Wearing a blue summer dress, the child dips her toes in the water while the sun shines on the Swedish coast.
Princess Madeleine added a caption to the picture, writing “Patiently Waiting…”.
The photo received thousands of likes, with many thanking the princess for sharing such a personal snap.
The Scandinavian royal, who is married to US financier Christopher Paul O’Neill, is the seventh in line to the Swedish throne and sister to the heir, Crown Princess Victoria.
Unlike British royals, members of the Swedish royal family regularly use social media such as Instagram.
Just earlier this month, Madeleine shared a picture of her third child, four-month-old Princess Adrienne, dubbed a “little angel” in the caption.
The youngest child of the couple was previously seen in the official photographs of her christening, which took place in June at Drottningholm Palace.
The princess and her husband were at the front of the picture, with grandparents Queen Silvia of Sweden and King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden as well as Christopher’s mother Eva Maria Walter completing the family snap.
But Princess Madeleine’s children aren’t the only little Swedish royals making an impact on social media.
Earlier this month, Prince Oscar, the two-year-old son of Crown Princess Victoria, was caught on camera chasing a ball in the gardens of Solliden Palace, the family’s summer residence in Oland.
Victoria’s youngest child rocked his white button-down shirt, beige dungarees and white sneakers while showing off to family and guests his football skills amid celebrations for her mother’s birthday.
