The 36-year-old proved she is every inch the busy and doting mother after it was revealed she regularly does the school run.

Proud Kate amazed royal fans across the world when she stepped out on to the steps of Lindo Wing to present her bundle of joy – just seven hours after welcoming her third child in the world.

And the day after giving birth to Prince Louis was no different for Duchess Kate as she was determined to be there at the school gates with George, who turned five on Sunday.

One parent told the Daily Mail: “No one really gives Kate a second glance when she does the school drop-off.

“We have a Victoria’s Secret model doing the school run, too, and the dads are far more interested in her.”

It comes after Kate was forced to miss the school run on Prince George’s first day at school as she battled crippling morning sickness.

George completed his first year at Thomas’s Battersea school this month, where he reportedly “thrived”.

A source added: “George loves it. He has really thrived there. And I know William and Kate are immensely grateful to the media for giving him space. It’s a very happy environment for him.”

Kate and her family are understood to be currently enjoying a summer holiday on the Caribbean island of Mustique, where they celebrated George’s birthday.

Duchess Kate, 36, is enjoying a longer maternity leave after feeling like she went back to work too quickly with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Kate barely gave herself any time off before or after Prince George was born.

The Duchess continued to work right up until eight months pregnant and returned to royal duties just five weeks after giving birth, when George was just one month old.

It was a similar maternity plan for Princess Charlotte when Kate worked up until she was eight months pregnant.

However, she gave herself more time off with her newborn and didn’t return to work until Princess Charlotte was four-months-old.

But this time Kate is expected to take even more time off with Prince Louis – perhaps not making a return to full time royal duties until October.
