The Duchess of Cornwall was escorted by Philip Brook, chairman of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, as she attends the Wimbledon Championships to meet officials, ball boys and girls and military personnel working at the tennis tournament.

Wearing a polka dot cream dress, the Duchess carried a small handbag and accessorised with nude heels.

The Duchess of Cornwall will take a seat in the Royal Box today. Sophie, Countess of Wessex, was also pictured arriving at the championships today. 

Camilla will join a host of famous faces in the Royal Box on Centre Court, where three-time champion Novak Djokovic and world number one Rafael Nadal are both due to play.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s other Carole Middleton also made an appearance at the championship today.

A keen tennis fan, Mrs Middleton was accompanied by her husband Michael.

She wore a printed shirt dress and smiled at photographers as she arrived.

Kate’s mum was last seen in public at Prince Louis’ christening on Monday which was attended by Camilla, Prince Charles and senior members of the Royal Family alongside Prince Louis’ godparents. 

Camilla, Carole and Sophie will join a host of famous faces in the Royal Box on Centre Court, where three-time champion Novak Djokovic and world number one Rafael Nadal are both due to play.

Beforehand she will meet Britain’s Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid, who triumphed in the wheelchair men’s doubles at Wimbledon last year.

Serbian Djokovic will play first on Centre Court against Kei Nishikori, from Japan, for a place in the semi-final.

Spaniard Nadal will then take on Juan Martin Del Potro, from Argentina.

Defending champion Roger Federer will play Russian Kevin Anderson on Court One.
