The Queen, who is the colonel-in-chief of the Scottish regiment, presented the unit with their new Standard during the visit.
Her Majesty said: “It gives me great pleasure as Colonel in Chief, Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, to present you with a New Standard today.”
The 92-year-old monarch was accompanied by the Duke of Kent, who is deputy colonel-in-chief.
