The Duchess of Cornwall bent over to smell a bouquet of flowers and was that taken with the arrangement she could not resist diving right in and was pictured burying her nose deep into the fresh flowers.
A smiling Camilla was visiting the Garden Museum to view a British Flowers Week exhibition, one day after enjoying Royal Ascot.
During a jam-packed day of royal events, the duchess of Cornwall attended a reception to celebrate British Flower Growers and met Alan Titchmarsh.
The Duchess also created a stunning bouquet of flowers that was tied by TV presenter Alan Titchmarsh, who did the flowers for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding in 2011.
The TV gardener and Camilla were seen arranging posies of flowers with representatives from Floral Angels – a charity Camilla is patron of.
The organisation turns unwanted flowers into gifts for homeless and domestic violence shelters and hospice.
Camilla stepped out in a sophisticated cream dress which fell just beneath her knees, black and white shoes and stunning pearl jewellery.
During a tour of the exhibition in Lambeth in south London, the elegant 70-year-old stopped to admire a portrait of her husband who is a patron of the museum.
The painting was created by the artist Eileen Hogan in 2015 and shows her husband sitting at his desk at Birkhall surrounded by flowers.
Prince Charles is dressed in a suit jacket and blue shirt holding a pen in the exceptional portrait.
The relaxed Duchess appeared in high-spirits when she stroked a playful dog at the museum and met children who gave her floral gifts.
Camilla was given flowers from six-year-old Evie Pike during the visit to the Garden Museum, which aim to celebrate British gardens and gardening though exhibitions and events.
The Duchess later visited the Elephant Family Charity, founded by her later brother Mark Shand, at The Oriental Club in London for an event to raise awareness of the charity’s work to protect the Asian elephant.
She mingled with the guests, which include the model Jodie Kidd.
The Duchess looked happy even though she was missing the third day of Royal Ascot for her official duties.
Yesterday at Royal Ascot, Prince Charles presented the trophy to the winner of of The Prince of Wales Stakes with Camilla.
Tomorrow the couple are expected to visit Salisbury, Wiltshire in recognition of the recovery programme that is happening in the city in the wake of the Skripal poisoning.
