Sporting a white jacket and loose-fitting turquoise jumpsuit, Pippa joined guests to honour Paralympians who took part in the Winter Games at the plush event put together by Disability Snowsport UK and told how she was “profoundly moved” by those she met while supporting the charity.

Though she was not joined by her hedge fund manager husband James Matthews, she looked tanned and content as she chatted to guests and posed for pictures.

She said in a heart-felt speech: “As a patron, I have been profoundly moved by the people I have met through the charity and the stories they have shared with me.

“It was obvious that these trips do wonders for the disabled soul – for self-esteem, for pride, and for confidence in their ability.”

Pippa, 34, recently said she was “lucky” to have reached her 12-week scan without suffering a bout of morning sickness, something her older sister Kate experienced during all three of her pregnancies.

The Duchess, who is mother to Prince George, four, Princess Charlotte, three, and new addition to the Cambridge family, Louis, was forced not to attend certain engagements due to crippling morning sickness.

Pippa and financier James, 40, got engaged and married after he wooed his wife in extraordinary style.

Before proposing to her with a £250,000 art deco engagement ring, he forked out on a £14,500 Cartier watch to get her attention.

He also bought her a £100,000 vintage Mercedes and whisked her off on lavish holidays to Corsica and Verbier, the Swiss ski resort.

He also flew Pippa and her family out on his £3 million private jet to an all-expenses-paid luxury holiday to St Barths where they all stayed at his parents’ hotel.

They married at a lavish ceremony last May.

Pippa famously held Kate’s stunning wedding dress trail when she wed Prince William in 2013.
