The district partnered with Giant Eagle in March to provide vaccinations for about 3,000 city school staff members and partner organization employees at Heinz Field.
The Pittsburgh Public Schools is the most recent district to announce a student vaccine clinic through the O’Hara-based grocery and pharmacy chain.
The North Hills and McKeesport Area school district have also partnered with Giant Eagle to vaccinate their eligible students.
“Schools and school districts interested in learning more about partnering on a student vaccination clinic are encouraged to contact Giant Eagle Pharmacy either via phone at 1-800-245-2367 or via email at [email protected],” a Giant Eagle spokesman said.
