Sky News host Sarah-Jane Mee has given birth to a baby girl with her fiancé Ben Richardson.
Mee shared the couple’s happy news on Instagram, writing: “Emerging from a baby bubble to share the #goodnews A little girl came into our world this week and stole our hearts. I couldn’t be more in love. Already @benray79 daddy’s girl and a super cute sidekick for big brother Teddy. If you are looking for the good in 2020 it’s moments like this.”
“Special thanks to my @skynews girls @eviecronchey @selinaswiftt @tatianaalderson for baby’s 1st insta outfit – just perfect #minimee,” she added, referring to baby clothes with the inscription ‘Breaking News: Baby Richardson has arrived’.
The Mirror reports that 41-year-old Mee chose a home birth for her first child due to the Covid-19 emergency.
The couple announced the pregnancy and their engagement in an interview with Hello! magazine in January. They had been together for 16 months at the time. Businessman Richardson has a son Teddy from a previous relationship.
