49-year-old Gerard Butler was transferred to the clinic last Monday with abdominal pains that presented from the previous 72 hours, reason why the doctors of the hospital decided its internment to subject him to exams.
The doctors who treated him, ordered an MRI on suspicion of appendicitis, but the results showed that he suffered from diverticulitis, which are small pouches that form on the inner wall of the intestine. The information stated that it was “very probable” that Butler would be discharged in the next few hours.
