Aldi stores have recalled multiple flavours of Organic Kombucha drinks over fears the caps could explode.

The hazard was caused by a potential high level of pressure which may result in the cap to burst open and cause injury.

The drinks include a range of flavours of Aldi’s Organic Kombucha drinks, including their Raspberry Lemon and Lemon Lime and Bitters.

Consumers are urged not to open or consume the products and to dispose of them carefully.

They can return them to their local Aldi store for a full refund.
