Actor and perennial daddy Tom Hardy has become a father for the third time after welcoming a new baby son with his wife Charlotte Riley.
The 41-year-old has a son named Louis Thomas, aged 10, from a previous relationship. He and Riley, aged 37, welcomed their first child together back in 2015.
The couple typically maintain their privacy, however, a ‘source’ told UK publication The Sun that they are “over the moon” with their new baby and that he looks “exactly like Tom.”
Said source also claimed to know the new baby’s name, saying:
“They love the name Forrest as it’s earthy and strong. Tom has always found the movie Forrest Gump very inspiring and enjoyable and thinks it fits.”
The pair recently relocated from their London home to a quieter rural area, with a different source saying at the time:
“Tom is living his new life in the country and has been seen dog-walking every morning. He feels it’s the perfect place for him and Charlotte to bring up their new baby.”
Tom Hardy met Charrlotte Riley on the set of the BBC’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights in 2009; they became engaged the following year and quietly tied the knot in 2014.
In may of 2018, the couple were guests at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Riley has worked extensively in TV and appeared in a number of episodes of Peaky Blinders, while Hardy was the star of last year’s hit Venom.
