Princess Eugenie’s wedding ceremony will be held on October 12, and final preparations are being made in anticipation for the big autumn wedding.

The ceremony will take place in St George’s Chapel at Windsor, the same location where Meghan and Harry tied the knot earlier in May.

Eugenie has kept wedding details on the quiet, revealing little about what we can expect for her Royal Wedding.

The princess has already picked her wedding dress for the day, but kept her outfit details on the hush.

Speculations are high over who she picked to design her dress, though she has revealed it will be a British-based name.

People have been predicting who it will be, but an internationally renowned bridal gown designer might have cracked the code.

Caroline Castigliano, royal expert and couture wedding dress designer told Express.co.uk: “I think Stewart Pravin could be doing the dress – he dresses the queen and also designs bridal wear, I think the connection could be a link.”

She also said Eugenie might go for a 50s style dress, with a flowing skirt rather than a modern look.

Ms Castigliano added: “I think she will go wilts a slightly 50’s feel. Beautiful soft flowing fill skirt and fitted bodice.”

In August, Eugenie told British vogue: “[The dress] is the one thing that I was really decisive about. As soon as we announced the wedding, I knew the designer, and the look, straight away.

“I never thought I’d be the one who knew exactly what I like, but I’ve been pretty on top of it.”

Speculations are high whether Eugenie might follow in Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge’s footsteps who wore British designer Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen on her 2011 wedding.

Kate’s looked stunning in a fitted lace dress which draped down below her waist elegantly, finishing off her look with a dazzling tiara.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle opted for a classic off-shoulder Givenchy gown, a fitted silhouette dress made of silk.

For her evening reception, the Duchess of Sussex chose a lily white open back halter-neck piece by American designer Stella McCartney.

Ms Castigliano added: “Eugenie’s sense of fashion is just different to Kate and Megan, she is younger and has an entirely different body shape, so her choices would not be the same.

“I personally don’t know how she has handled all the comments made about her clothes and dress sense. she has gone through so much criticism so young, it must be the strength of her mother that has seen her through these times.

“I hope she has a fabulous wedding day and I am sure she will look stunning, she is an incredibly pretty girl.”

Eugenie  shared her excitement at marrying her partner of eight years, and told British Vogue: “I’m not stressed at all.

“It’s very nerve-wracking because you want it to be perfect but then you realise that you’re going to be with the person you love forever and nothing else really matters.”
