The first guests have begun arriving outsside the chapel royal to watch the fifth-in-line christened under the eyes of god.

The service is being led by the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, in a private service that includes senior royal members and close friends of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Pippa Middleton was looking blooming as she showed offer her bump while out shopping for a hat just days before her nephew Prince Louis’ christening.

As she arrived at the chapel, she was seen wearing a baby blue ensemble complete with matching hat.

Her baby belly was barely noticeable beneath all the layers of the panelled dress. 

Pippa annoucned that she was pregnant with her first child in April.

It is understood that Pippa’s due date is in October.

Pippa Middleton’s announcement came shortly after her father-in-law found himself engulfed in accusations that he raped a teenager in the 1990s.

A source close to David Matthews reportedly described accusations he committed such an act as “outrageous” and claimed he was being “set up”.

Kensington Palace revealed Louis’ godparents on Monday, with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge having asked six close friends and family to be godparents to the fifth-in –line to the throne. 

The confirmed godparents include Nicholas van Cutsem, Guy Pelly, Harry Aubrey-Fletcher, Lady Laura Meade, Robert Carter and Lucy Middleton. 

Speaking on Twitter on Monday morning, Mr Welby said: “I’m delighted and privileged to be christening Prince Louis today – a precious child made in God’s image, just as we all are. “Please join me in praying for him and his family on this special day.” 

The service will take place at 4pm and is expected to be a low key and private ceremony, much like George’s ceremony five years ago.
