The Duchess of Sussex played lawyer Rachel Zane in Suits for seven years before finally being written out of the show in the season seven finale.

Her character married long-time love Mike Ross, played by Patrick J Adams, in the finale which aired just three weeks before Meghan’s real wedding to Prince Harry.

But it seems as though the former actress is no longer interested in the show, as she claims she has not watched the latest season.

At the Coach Core Awards at Loughborough University earlier this week, Meghan reportedly spoke to identical twins Luke and Elliott Rainbird, 20, whom she previously met at another Royal event.

The brothers asked the Duchess whether she had watched the latest series of suits.

She simply replied saying “no” before quickly turning the conversation back to the awards.

However, Meghan is still on good terms with her former co-stars, many of whom were invited to her wedding in May.

Meghan explained how she felt about moving on from Suits to Royal life in her engagement interview with Prince Harry.

She said: “I’ve been working on Suits for seven years. We were very, very fortunate to have that sort of longevity on a series.

“I’ve worked this box, and I feel very proud of the work I’ve done there, and now it’s time to work with Harry as a team.”

Show creators expressed their happiness upon the news of her engagement last year.

The statement read: “From all of us at USA Network and Universal Cable Productions, we want to send our most heartfelt congratulations to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on their engagement.”

Her friends from the show also took to Twitter to congratulate her.

Her co-star Mr Adams said: “Playing Meghan’s television partner for the better part of a decade uniquely qualifies me to say this: Your Royal Highness, you are a lucky man and I know your long life together will be joyful, productive and hilarious.

“Meghan, so happy for you, friend. Much love.”

Since her departure from the show, they have hired Katherine Heigl to play a new character in the legal drama.
