Camilla appeared overwhelmed by the heatwave, as the royals left St James Palace

The Duchess of Cornwall was seen fuffling the leaflet about as she strolled alongside her husband, Prince Charles, as the royals left St James Palace.

Having an overwhelmed look spread across her face, Camilla turned behind and spoke to Harry and Meghan, using the Order of the Service to fan air towards her face, appearing as if she was complaing about the summer heat.

Camilla was dressed in a delicate Fiona Clare cream dress and matching Locke hat, finishing off her look with a stunning pearl necklace earrings as she attended her step-grandson’s christening service today.

Prince Louis, who was born in London on April 23, 2018, was christened this afternoon in Chapel Royal, St James Palace at 4pm.

The ceremony was presided by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby.

Prince Louis, who is fifth-in-line to the throne wore a silk handmade replica of the Royal Christening Robe, made by the Queen’s dressmaker, Angela Kelly in 2008.

The original robe was made in 1841, and was worn by Queen Victoria’s eldest daughter during her christening.

The replica was created after the Queen said the original was too fragile to be worn again.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge appointed six godparents for Louis, Kensington Palace revealed on Monday.

The confirmed godparents include Nicholas van Cutsem, Guy Pelly, Harry Aubrey-Fletcher, Lady Laura Meade, Robert Carter and Lucy Middleton.

Mr Welby said on Twitter today: I’m delighted and privileged to be christening Prince Louis today – a precious child made in God’s image, just as we all are.

“Please join me in praying for him and his family on this special day.”

Among those who attened the ceremony were Prince Harry, Meghan Markle along with Kate’s parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, Pippa Matthews, her husband James Matthews and Kate’s brother, James Middleton.

The Queen and her husband, Prince Philip did not attend the ceremony this afternoon, according to Kensington Palace.

It is believed the Queen did not attend her grandson’s christening due to her busy schedule, with several royal engagements on her agenda next week, including US President Doanld Trump’s expected visit.

Meanwhile, Prince Philip has retired from public duties, having recently been spotted enjoying his free time riding a carraige along the gardens of Windsor Castle last month.

William and Kate decided on two hymns to be played in Louis’ christening ceremony, along with two lessons and two anthems.

The Hymns are O Jesus, I Have Promised and Lord of All Hopefulness.

The lessons are from St. Mark 10: 13-16, read by Miss Lucy Middleton and Ephesians 3: 14-19, read by Mr Guy Pelly.

The anthems are This is the day which the Lord hath made (John Rutter) and Suo Gân, a traditional Welsh Lullaby (Gareth Wilson).

Kate left The Chapel Royal craddling serene Prince Louis in her arms, while Prince William held Princess Charlotte and Prince George’s hands as the family left The Chapel Royal.

Following the service, the guests will head to Clarence house to enjoy the Duke and Duchess’ wedding fruitcake in a private tea ceremony, and take photographs.
